There are no campgrounds in D.C. proper, so your best bet for exploring the nation's capital is parking your RV in a neighboring state and taking public transit or a ride-share service into Washington, D.C. The closest RV resort to Washington is Maryland's Cherry Hill Park. Maryland's Greenbelt Park and Virginia's Prince William Forest Park are two nearby national parks that allow RVs to park but don't have hookups.
