Griffith Elementary School Reviews

Public school at its best. Teachers who are involved in giving the students a high education with discipline, by applying high standards in social and leadership skills. Parent involvement a plus. No uniforms but everyone must have a tucked in shirt/blouse policy which helps keep a uniform system.

I went to this elementary school when I was younger. I LOVED IT!!! Most of the teachers were wonderful and tried their hardest to make learning fun! I attended Griffith from Kinder. to 8th grade. I graduated on Principal's list. I highly recommend this school as a student, and now as a parent.

This is a great elementary school, as I used to go there from kindergarten thru 3rd grade. Lots of my childhood memories are from there and all of my base for education started there and remains strong in my daily life. Griffith is a great school with caring teachers. I remember.

Griffith School was the worst school my children have ever gone to. They hated being there the whole time. Now they go to Alta Vista, and are much happier.

My daughter is in Kindergarten at Griffith Her teacher is Mrs Zeka I think she needs to be awarded she really cares about the students. I am very pleased with Griffith.

My son has attended Griffith Elementary for the past two years. I am torn because we've moved to another school district in Scottsdale and I want to do the best possible thing for him and both he and I love the staff and teachers at Griffith. He's reading well above grade average, loves math and learning. Griffith gave him the best possible start a child can have, but as he enters 2nd grade, do I change districts to one in our neighborhood so he lives near his classmates?

My son has gone to K and now is in 1st grade. There are many parents who do not show an active interest, this really surprises me. Each parent should take an active interest in their children's education. At parent/teacher Orientation two weeks ago, there was myself and one other parent for a class of 27 children. Sad.

I used to attend this school. Awesome school. This is the only school I ever attended where the teachers actually cared.

The overall rating of this school, above average-high. The teaching system is good and besides band and sports; there are alot of clubs and organizations, to keep the students and parents involved. Teacher turnover rate appears to be low. So, you see the same friendly faces from year to year. My son is in eigth grade and his younger siblings are familiarizing themselves with the staff. Very friendly and they keep in touch with parent's on a personal level.

Griffith school staff was always there for the students and the parents. They were easy to reach if there was any concerns or problems. There is parent involvement and community involvement throughout the district; this is something that is not always seen in other school districts. Griffith school also has a lot of extracurricular activities to keeep the students involve in sports activites, band, etc. I was very happy to have my son attend Griffith school.

the school was great for my son
