I've had very positive experiences with the counselors, attendance ladies, nurse, coaches, Dr.Ennis and her staff as well as a couple of teachers. I must admit my disappointment in the principal as well as the police officer at the school as my teens and I have had 2 instances that needed their help and attention and although they seemed concerned at the initial time of the problem, neither of them followed thru with the actions that needed to occur and when I confronted the principal at the beginning of the year to see how things were coming along, she was very uncaring and I could tell that to her it was of no concern. In all honesty Central is, by far, the greatest school I have ever attended. All of my teachers got to know me and helped me in any way they could, wether they were helping solve problems with friends, or the class itself. Personally, I am not at all artistic, and don't care for sports, but I know people in these activities, and they are very good. Also, the speech team is amazing and I have made so many friends and gained skills from it. The level of parent involvment is amazingly high. I've gotten to know many parents, and they are all extremely involved with everything that has to do with the school. Central is, in my opinion, the greatest school, and I think it will be for a long time. She likes the diversity and friendliness of the student body. The classes are very easy. The teachers seem to have low expectations so that more students can get passing grades. There seem to be mixed excellent and mediocre teachers at Central.
