Valley Classical Christian Academy Reviews

This is an amazing community school with a strong education. The class sizes are quite small and it is the best bargain in the Central Corridor. The new facility is wonderful and, our kids are so happy to be attending VCCA.

My wife and I feel very lucky we found this school. The class sizes are small and the staff are great educators. Our daughter was reading at age four. We have been with the school for 3 years.

I love this school and I can't imagine my children going anywhere else. The class size is small and children are given the individual attention that they need to suceed. Kids are taught at an accelerated pace and are ahead of public schools. The music and art programs are amazing.

Valley classical is a wonderful school. My daughter started in Aug. 2007 as a preschooler, and she has excelled in every area, acedemically, emotionally and religiously. The curriculum is based on truly advancing your child and teaching christian values which are missing today in public schools. VCCS is moving this year, and my daughter will not be able to continue there, but we feel truly blessed that she was able to attend this school year. Wendy F.

This is a school that focuses on classical educationl. It teaches Latin to all age groups. It is primarily racially white. It has small class sizes of 6-12 students. It has a new principal this year. It has religion classes that confirm to evangelical Christian beliefs. Not a lot of outside help if your child learns in a non-tradtional manner. Very strict standards for discipline and study. The person who conceptualized this school is no longer there, so I don't know what it will look like in the future. It is Pre-K through 8th grade. Students must wear uniforms.

I can whole-heartedly recommend VCCS. I have a daughter in Kindergarten, and a son in their preschool. This school does a great job in all areas of education. I have been so impressed with what they are teaching at the Kindergarten level. Part of the 'Classical education' curriculum includes incorporating Latin in their studies, even at the Kindergarten level. My daughter is doing work I believe to be far beyond what the public schools have to offer. She is reading, doing addition and subtraction, computer, music, Spanish, art. Parent involvement is excellent there. It's evident at every level, every function. I like the structure: they wear uniforms, the staff know the children and parents very well, they will not sacrifice the learning of many children due to disruptive behavior of 1 or 2. Most importantly, everything they do focuses on Christian life, honoring the Lord in ALL you do!

I think that Valley Cathedral Christian is a great school. My child has learned so much, I believe that he is one full year ahead in the program that he is learning. He is now in Kindergarten, but he is learning 1st grade stuff. The whole staff is wonderful and very loving. I am very glad that he has an opportunity to learn about God. He is too young to go to church, therefore the lessons that he has in his classroom more than make up for what he might gain by attending church. I just think that the whole program is great.

VCCS has been an awesome school choice for us! I have always felt that the safety was never a problem. Everyone---parents, teachers etc. are all involved in the training and teaching of your child. It is a very loving environment.

I love this school. The academics are great and the children learn proper behaviour. The quality of education here is far superior to that of the public schools in the area. My children also love their school. A great plus in the Arizona desert is that the playground is covered. I highly recommend this school.
