The Hungry Monk: Chandler's Newest Sports Spot
The Hungry Monk offers sports-themed, family friendly dining in Chandler. One of the newest additions to Chandler, the Hungry Monk has quickly grown a loyal following of food and sports fanatics. The Hungry Monk offers 28 varieties of draft beer and 18 HD flat panel televisions, which are always broadcasting current sporting events.
Other fun activities to enjoy include karaoke, live team trivia and UFC events. With a menu that features chicken wings, pub-style sandwiches, burgers, salads and dessert options, you’re sure to find something that will satisfy your taste buds.
Since the house specialty is chicken wings, they come in a number of flavors and levels of heat. Wing flavors include buffalo, sweet BBQ, roasted garlic, parmesan garlic, Cajun, honey mustard, lemon pepper, sweet and sour, Thai peanut, teriyaki and honey hot—now, that’s a lot of flavors! The heat index is an important scale to understand, depending on your need for spicy wings. Order your wings regular for a tangy and flavorful treat. As for hot, extra hot or nuclear—how brave can YOU be? The nuclear level does come with a disclaimer, so be careful!
Visit the Hungry Monk for lunch between 11 a.m.–3 p.m., Monday-Friday and you can select any entrée or wing order, a side and a beverage for $7. Not visiting for lunch? That’s all right, too—the Hungry Monk offers daily specials anytime. On Monday, enjoy $2 Blue Moon pints and $10 all-you-can-eat boneless wings; kids eat free all day. Then, on Tuesday, Corona, Tecate and Pacifico beer is priced at $2 and bone in wings are $.59.
Wednesday will bring $3 Craft pints and $.59 boneless wings followed by the Thursday special, $3 Jager drinks, $3 pints and $1 chicken tenders. On Friday, enjoy $3 Captain Morgan drinks, margaritas, house wine and pints. Saturday you can order any gyro and chips for $5, draft pints for $3 and pitchers for $10. Finally, Sunday specials include $5 quarter pound burgers and chips and the same drink special as Saturday.
