My daughter and I had a FANTASTIC time! I'll have to say, I personally like this zoo better than the Phoenix zoo! It was scenic (grass/trees/foliage), and very child friendly! They had awesome duck/swan/every type of bird, feeding ponds throughout the grounds, where you can purchase pellets with a quarter and feed them. They would actually eat out of our hands too! My daughter just LOVED it!
The animals were so easy to see/view and the grounds were beautiful! They had a wonderful boat ride, carousel ride, train and skyline ride! Not to mention, the new log/water ride (coaster) in between the zoo and the new aquarium area. They offered live shows through out the day, where you could feed parrots and let the kids actually pet/touch them too. The giraffe exhibit alone was worth the trip!! They had 4 of them (giraffes') and a feeding station (elevated to their level) where you, again, for 2 quarters, could get a handful of pellets and hand feed them!!! They came right up to you!! The kids LOVED it!!
The petting zoo was fantastic!! They not only had the typical goats, but they had Llama's! and Deer!! My 1 year old could of stayed there forever!! They have a huge playground right next to the petting zoo and the kids were just in HEAVEN!! as were the parents!!
The Aquarium consists of 3 buildings. It's a smaller aquarium, but very enjoyable! Especially for younger children! The penguin exhibit was adorable and the kids could go right up to the tank and pretend play with the penguins! They also had a stingray pond where you could pet and feet the stingrays! Not to mention, open tanks where the kids could feel and pet star fish and other friendly sea creatures! We can't wait to go back again!!
As for parking, make sure you park in the WEST parking lot. It's paved and closer to the aquarium. It's also the only entrance that takes credit/debit cards. The East entrance only

The pricing is higher than I was expecting for a zoo of this size, but still had a good time. The parking area is gravelly, so not good for small low cars. It's a bit of a drive to get all the way out here, so just factor that into your plans. Went the day after a good rain, and there was a LOT of mud and puddles since the paths are dirt/gravel. Lots of stuff to see, tho sometimes it seems like the variety isn't quite as expected... after you start seeing so many birds and primates, they start to all look the same. But kids should have fun. Will go back next time we have out of town visitors.

This zoo is ok but last time we went there weren't many animals and the place looked a little run down. I will say that the staff seems very pleasant and caring about the animals and they treat the guests nicely. There's a bit more interaction with animals here than at the Phoenix Zoo but it can be quite a trek if you don't live in the West Valley. Prices are comparitive to other zoos and food and drink prices are actually reasonable.

Wildlife World Zoo may not boast the huge pavilions that some zoos have, but the proximity to the animals is wonderful. You can get right up to many of them. A great place to take the kids or the young at heart.

This zoo is a great zoo and located conviently in the west valley. It's usually not as busy as the more popular Phoenix Zoo but it just as nice. They have a lot of cool activites and rides for children like train ride, carousel, and more...they have petting zoo and feeding some birds exhibit. Nice place to visit and worth the money.
