Customer Reviews
If you want traditional mexican food, this isn't the place. It's just generic.

We decided to try On the Border on a Sunday night. We went early after reading that there could potentially be a long-ish wait. There wasn't any wait.
The food was so-so. The fajitas weren't the best I'd ever had and possibly some of the worst. There just wasn't any flavor to the chicken and the vegatables were overcooked. The tortillas were doughy and not terribly edible.
Service was slow and the server seemed to have a "holier-than-thou" detached attitude.
We won't be returning.
Pros: No wait.
Cons: Homogenized mexican food.

We dine at this location often. The margaritas are fresh and the beer is cold, the service is always good and the Management is friendly. The burritos are pretty standard and the price is affordable, but their fajitas are the best in town with lots of options, not your standard Steak or Chicken (although they have these and they are good too) I love Mexican food and this is the best overall in town.
Pros: great service, great atmosphere, Great margaritas
Cons: long weekend wait
