Arcadia Farms: organic fare, inviting garden setting
Published: May 24, 2009
Arcadia Farms offers culinary specialty dishes, prepared with local, fresh organic ingredients and served to patrons on the serene garden patio or in the dining cottage. Whether you're having a quick bite or a more formal meal, Arcadia Farms offers upscale dining at affordable prices.
Start things off with an appetizer. You can try the crab and avocado tower — prepared with blue lump crab, diced avocado, gazpacho salsa and diced tomatoes. Or try the trio of bruschetta — smoked salmon, tomato-basil and mozzarella; and prosciutto, arugula and goat cheese. Other appetizer options include baked brie with caramelized apples, smoked salmon cheesecake and more ($7–$14).
Why not select one of the many fresh salads? For something with a tangy-sweet kick, try the strawberry chicken salad, made with grilled chicken, vine-ripened strawberries, toasted almonds, mixed baby greens and poppy seed vinaigrette. Or try the pesto grilled shrimps salad, made with marinated and grilled shrimp, baby lettuces, diced avocado, baby tomatoes, goat cheese, grilled corn and lime vinaigrette topped with frizzled tortillas. Other salad options include the Greek, Cobb and Oriental ($12–$14).
The menu includes sandwiches — tuna, club, ham, vegetable and roasted chicken — served with potato salad or garden salad ($12–$13). Other options include grilled salmon, crab cakes, vegetable and chicken quesadilla and several daily soups ($7–$15).
For more than 20 years, Arcadia Farms has been serving creative cuisine using only locally grown and organic ingredients — always pesticide and hormone free.
A variety of bakery items are available, including cookies, cakes, tarts, pies, crisps and more, and all are baked daily in house for freshness and flavor.
Reservations are recommended and can be made online here. As public parking is limited, Arcadia Farms offers valet service. For a complete menu and more information, visit the website.
You can visit two other Arcadia Farms locations in downtown Phoenix: One is at the Phoenix Museum of Art, and the other, City Bakery; is located at the Arizona Science Center.
