Banana Leaf Asia Bistro: a modern, yet authentic, Asian experience
The Banana Leaf Asia Bistro offers authentic Asian cuisine with a modern twist.
Chef Ivan Hsieh specializes in incorporating traditional Asian cuisine with a new perspective by adding unexpected elements to his flavor combinations. Some of his creations include crispy walnut chicken, Thai chili beef in red curry sauce, and the Dragon in Phoenix Nest. Try them -- your taste buds will thank you. The crispy walnut chicken is a skinless breast breaded and sautéed in a creamy mayonnaise sauce and topped with candied walnuts. The Dragon in Phoenix Nest presents an arrangement of seafood vegetables tucked into an actual edible nest!
In addition to the delicious lo mein and Thai curry chicken, the Banana Leaf Asia Bistro serves traditional Asian favorites like Kung Pao, Sweet and Sour, Moo Shu and Orange Chicken. The Bistro offers a wide variety of appetizers, soups, salads, noodles and entrees -- offierings sure to satisfy the entire family.
The restaurant offers lunch specials in the $6 to $9 range every Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It also specializes in catering and has a banquet room available for meetings and parties. More information and a complete menu are available on the website.
