At Buca di Beppdo the dishes are served up family style and are meant to be shared.

You can order any dish in two different sizes. The Buca small serves two to three, and the  Buca large serves four to six. Individual-size plates are also available for a quick lunch.

For a full meal, you can get things started by sharing an appetizer or two. Choices include garlic bread, fried calamari, bruschetta, mozzarella caprese, prosciutto stuffed mushrooms and more. Costs range from $8-$11 for a small, $10-$16 for a large.

There is also a $20 trio platter that includes a sampling of fried calamari, fried mozzarella and prosciutto stuffed mushrooms served with marinara, pesto cream sauce and spicy marinara for dipping.

Share one of their many fresh salads, such as the mixed greens, Caesar, chopped antipasto, warm tomato and spinach. Small salads range from $10-$11 and large from $18-$20.

Menu items include pizza, manicotti, chicken cannelloni, baked ravioli, lasagna, spaghetti, linguine, fettuccini Alfredo, chicken Marsala and chicken, eggplant or veal parmigiana.

The proscuitto stuffed chicken  is prepared with breaded chicken breasts stuffed with mozzarella and prosciutto, baked and topped with marinara, served on a bed of pesto cream sauce. You can also get braised short ribs and salmon with pesto.

Entrées range from $15 to $18 for a small, $17 to $40 for a large. Sides include garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, meatballs.

Many Italians believe that the perfect Italian meal should be paired with a great glass of wine, and at Buca di Beppdo they've got you covered with a large selection.

There are also a variety of $5 kid’s meals available, including macaroni and cheese, pizza, spaghetti, fettuccini and chicken parmigiana.

If you’ve managed to save room for desert, try sharing some tiramisu, cheesecake, chocolate cake or gelato della casa — Buca di Beppdo’s signature Italian ice cream. Deserts range from $10-$20.

Reservations are recommended, and can be made online or by phone. For to-go orders, you can place your order online in advance, then swing by to pick it up.

Buca di Beppdo is a national chain restaurant, there are two other locations throughout the Phoenix metro area.  Visit them in Mesa at 1730 South Val Vista Drive and in Chandler at 7111
