U.S. Egg in Scottsdale is egg-actly what you need to get your day started right. No matter what you chose, you can't go wrong.
The house specialty is omelets, and they serve them up a variety of ways at prices ranging from $7-$10.
You can get the Hawkeye, made with chicken, avocado, diced bacon, tomatoes and Monterey jack cheese. Or, try the spinach and mushroom with fresh spinach leaves, diced mushrooms, Monterey jack and cheddar cheese, served with sour cream.
Another local favorite is the Texan, made with Texas chili and topped with a combination of jack and cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, sour cream and a side of salsa.
Not in the mood for an omelet? Try one of their many other options. Order the chalé French toast, which is made with freshly cut chalé bread, topped with powdered sugar, cinnamon, and whipped butter. Or, for only $7.75 the biscuits and sausage gravy served with eggs and potatoes are a delicious choice.. Add a side of bacon or sausage for $2.85.
