The Coffee Shop: more than just a cup of joe!

Aug 1, 2009

Open since 2007, The Coffee Shop offers specialty coffee drinks and homemade recipes made with fresh ingredients. With a menu full of breakfast choices, bakery treats and sandwiches, you’re sure to find something to satisfy your tummy.

There are more than a dozen espresso beverages served hot or cold including caramel macchiato, white mocha, café latte, Americano and more. Also, try a blended drink in your favorite flavor—coffee, caramel, mocha, vanilla, banana and turtle. During the holidays, the specialty drinks bring the pleasures of the season to all of your senses with drinks like the egg nog, gingerbread and peppermint latte.

Hungry for something fantastic to accompany your coffee drink? Try a breakfast burrito, ham and egg sandwich, the breakfast club or quiche ($7-$9). Or, try the San Diegian—an open faced omelet with sour cream, mushroom, cheddar, bacon, chives, tomatoes and feta cheese ($8). For a sweeter treat, try the cinnamon roll, scone or muffin. Also, cupcakes and cookies are available. The house specialty Boston Cream cupcakes are a treat anytime of the day!

There are also a variety of fresh sandwiches including the turkey cranberry made with turkey, chipotle mayo, havarti, tomato, onion, lettuce and cranberry sauce on wheat bread ($8). Other sandwich choices include a California club, field veggie, southwest chicken, egg salad and tomato basil ($6-$9).
