Radio Milano: Tune in for Italian inspired cuisine

Published: Jun 22, 2009

Offering patrons Italian inspired cuisine and superb hospitality, the service staff at Radio Milano is prompt and attentive,  providing complimentary valet service when you arrive and a freshly baked cookie when you leave. The restaurant’s swanky yet edgy vibe is as cool and inviting as the seared ahi tuna salad.

From anywhere you sit at Radio Milano you’ll have a bird’s eye view of the chefs  preparing your meal.  The open-air kitchen is a focal point in the stylishly decorated restaurant.

Start your Radio Milano experience with a glass of wine and one of their many appetizers. You can  chose from deviled eggs, grilled artichokes, tuna tartar, calamari or soup ($5-$10).

Next, try one of their menu entrée items — the jumbo lump crab cake with grilled corn salsa and farmer’s market salad in a mustard sauce ($25). Or, try the olive oil shrimp scampi is prepared with fresh garlic, red pepper flakes, and a grilled crouton ($18).

Other entrée options include vegetarian lasagna, linguine and clams, grilled Scottish salmon, roasted organic chicken, filet mignon and cowboy ribeye steak ($15-$25).

Or, order from the daily chalkboard specials--the surf and turf made with lobster tail, steak and white truffle mashed potatoes ($25).

For the kiddos in your group, Radio Milano offers their choice of buttered noodles, macaroni and cheese, and spaghetti and meatballs ($5 — free from 5-6 p.m.).

Finish things off with a local favorite, olive oil cake.  Or, try the radio chocolate pudding and gelato of the day ($7).
