Golfland Fright Nights: a spooktacular experience
Published: Oct 3, 2009
Golfland Fright Nights features The Gauntlet haunted house and the Spooktacular Golf course; a chilling Halloween thrill awaits you! Golfland has been transformed into a spooky world of horror for the month of October. You won't want to miss this exciting adventure.
A 5,000 square foot haunted house, The Gauntlet, will take you back in time to the spooky 1300's. The air is ripe with the stench of the decaying dead as the Black Death creeps its way through Europe. Tormented and tortured souls are dying in the street. People are turning against their family and friends as they turn the streets into a witch-hunt for the sick…quarantining, killing, and burning anyone who looks to be infected, trying to stop the death from spreading! Explore 15 chambers of doom featuring over 20 performers, six gallons of blood and 666 pounds of human flesh. This chilling adventure is not for the faint at heart.
For those too squeamish to make it through The Gauntlet, try a round of Spooktacular Golf. This 18-hole miniature golf course has undergone a terrifying transformation. Each hole is filled with spooky fun for the entire family and candy is distributed every day.
Located in the parking lot east of the Castle, a horrific maze of terror will challenge all that dare visit. As the precious seconds tick away, your exit will become more difficult as the “invited” guests will not assist your departure from this newest addition to Golfland’s Fright Nights. Larbryinth is included with the purchase of a Gauntlet ticket, or can be purchased separately for $3.
Some of the other entertaining attractions to check out when visiting Golfland include King Ben’s Arcade with over 200 games, Bumper Boats and Fastcar Raceway.
If you’ve worked up a hunger with all that fun, check out the concession stand at Golfland and enjoy homemade pizza, sub sandwiches, nachos and many other snacks.
