MainStage 2009-10: A Season of Science and Mystery

The ASU Herberger College School of Theatre and Film’s MainStage 2009-10: Season of Science and Mystery will explore the role of technology, science and the media in our everyday lives through the theatre experience. The Season opens Oct. 2, 2009 and continues through May, 2010.

By exploring the early stirrings of the modern scientific era all the way through the futuristic dreams of artificial intelligence entities, MainStage 2009–10 is the premiere platform for the community of students, faculty, staff and professionals who comprise the School of Theatre and Film. Patrons are invited to come out and enjoy the cultivation of work through this dynamic showcase of theatre experiences.

Ticket prices range from $7–$22; First–Friday performances are $11. Season ticket subscriptions are available and season subscribers receive $9 First–Friday prices. Tickets can be purchased online or through the box office by calling 480-965-6447.

Explore the consequences of the Chicago’s Radium Dial Company’s employment of women to paint radium on watch dials with little thought for worker safety.

The Death and Life of Sherlock Holmes

Arthur Conan Doyle and his daughter create the classic character to solve both real and imagined mysteries.
