Club Bounce: drinks, dancing and acceptance

For the last five years, Club Bounce has been Southern California’s premier acceptance night club, gaining nationwide attention as a place where patrons of all shapes and sizes a comfortable environment to socialize, drink and shake it.
Now Phoenix can join the fun at the first expansion of the Long Beach, Ca.-based club. The local Club Bounce operates every Thursday night from 8 p.m.-2 a.m. at Club Vibe, 3031 E. Indian School Road.
The Club Bounce mission is to encourage people of all sizes to change their lives by being more confident and happy with who they are. Patrons drink, chat and bounce to a mix of hip hop, R&B, old school, top 40, dance and more.
The club is for ages 21 and over and charges a $5 cover before 10 p.m., $10 after. Happy hour offers drink discounts ($3 well drinks and $3 domestic beer pitchers) run from 8-10 p.m.
Not planning to head out until later in the night? Drink prices are still relatively inexpensive after 10 p.m., with $4-$6 well drinks and $7 and up pitchers of beer.
The Club Bounce dress policy excludes plain T-shirts, jerseys and bandanas so, keep that in mind when you’re dressing for the night.
