Dolly Steamboat: Enjoy the flora, fauna and fun

A cruise aboard the the Dolly Steamboat in Apache Junction is an escape into the breathtaking scenery, flora and fauna that are native to the Sonoran Desert.
Every Wednesday through Sunday at noon you can climb aboard for a 90-minute narrated nature cruise where you can sit back, relax and enjoy the natural habitat from the luxury and comfort of the steamboat.
The cruise cost $20 for adults, $12 for children ages 5-12. Children 4 and under are free on all of Dolly Steamboats cruises. There are a few select nature cruises that include lunch; they're $44 for adults and children 5-12.
There are also two 2.5-hour dinner cruises available: the Twilight dinner cruise and the Twilight Astronomy dinner cruise.
The Twilight dinner cruise aboard the Dolly Steamboat will take you on a beautiful Canyon Lake tour, where you will see the sun set against the canyon walls and enjoy a romantic dinner served buffet style, with rotating themes and entrée items. Entrée items include filet mignon, prime rib, barbecued ribs, grilled chicken breast and vegetarian pasta. Prices are $65 for adults, $44 for children 5-12.
On the Twilight Astronomy dinner cruise, a guest astronomy expert will discuss the solar system as you view it through telescopes. This cruise is offered once a month and costs $77 for adults and $57 for children 5-12. The dinner features filet mignon.
If you like the idea of a Twilight Astronomy cruise but want to opt out of the dinner, Dolly Steamboat has got you covered. The Twilight Astronomy cruise without dinner is $38 for adults and $25 for children 5-12.
