Tempe Marketplace: one stop for entertainment, shopping and dining
Published: Jun 16, 2009
Entertainment, shopping, dining, and fun — all wrapped up into one exciting location. With more than 110 restaurants, stores, and entertainment venues, there's plenty to keep the whole family busy, morning, noon and night.
The heart of the Marketplace is the District, which comes to life at night with laser light and water displays, outdoor fireplaces and live music. At the center of the District you’ll find Dave & Buster’s, Cadillac Ranch, San Felipe’s Cantina, and California Pizza Kitchen nestled around the live-entertainment stage. Live music is featured on the District stage every Thursday through Saturday nights from 7-10.
Other exciting options include the Harkins Theatre, which has 16 screens and features the "Cine-Capri experience," dubbed the largest theater screen in Arizona. As You Wish is a pottery-painting store and is a great destination for the family. You’ll tap into that creative side by painting a custom designed ceramic piece of your choice. They also offer classes, parties, and teambuilding events.
The restaurant, shopping, and entertainment options seem endless at the Tempe Marketplace. Whether you’re looking for a family day or taking your sweetheart out for a night on the town, you aren't likely to be disappointed. The marketplace website offers a full listing of business and events.
