There are more than 30 runs spanning close to 800 skiable acres and the longest run is two miles long. The base elevation at Snowbowl is 9,200 feet and the summit elevation reaches a high point of 11, 500 feet. If you’re a beginner at the winter sports, Snowbowl is a great place for you to learn the basics as you build up your skill level and comfort with the slopes. Purchase a package that include lessons and equipment at the Rental Shop and be sure to show up at least 1 hour before your lesson time during the week and 2 hours early during holidays and weekends. For advanced sport enthusiasts, check out Sunset Terrain Park—featuring obstacles, spines, rails and fun boxes. The boxes include a 24-foot flat box, a down box, a 20-foot C-box and a 24-foot house box. Whether you just need to take a break or if you’re gearing up to hit the slopes, visit one of the two full service lodges located at Snowbowl. First, the Hart Prairie Lodge offers food, entertainment, ski and ride school, equipment rentals, lift tickets and more. Then, up a bit further on the mountain you’ll find the Agassiz Lodge with many of the same accommodations.
