Ah, Phoenix, the land of dry heat. It’s a good thing Phoenix’s heat is dry, because there have been some hot days since the early 1990s. The top temperature hit 122°F on June 26. 1990. But, listen to this. In the middle of the night on July 15, 2003 the temperature stayed at 96°F. Whew! Now, there’s a topic for conversation.
